Young, in love and marrying your soul mate describes the bond between Jacob and Alyssa. Being around this couple truly is a joy due to their outgoing personalities and contagious smiles. While watching Jacob and Alyssa express their love for each other, one can’t help but believe there is a perfect match out there for everyone. Like the idiom “a match made in heaven” states, Jacob and Alyssa have been destined to be together long before they actually met.

I have been looking forward to capturing David & Mara’s engagement session since the first time we talked about it. Not only was I honored they chose me as their photographer but I was also thrilled to learn the engagement session and wedding will be on the field at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. Having season tickets to Angel’s games, the stadium was an easy decision as to where the beginning of David & Mara’s marriage should be held. We had such a fun time smiling and laughing while walking throughout the stadium that it seemed like it was our first time at the stadium. David and Mara are wonderful people and share a love for each other that cannot be broken. Capturing their love affair at the stadium was an amazing experience and I look forward to being a part of the ceremony in September.

Last year I captured Adam and Ale’s engagement session during an overcast day at the beach. The weather on their wedding day was also overcast but the day was far from gloomy. The connection between this wonderful couple makes any day seem like a perfect day. The passion Adam and Ale share for one another was evident when Adam surprised Ale with a heartfelt letter before the ceremony began. The quiet moment Ale shared with her mom as she read Adam’s letter was the start of a fun and romantic day that was full of smiles and tears of joy. Yes, another perfect day for Adam and Ale.

There are 8,765 hours in a calendar year. Those hours also represent the time between Megan tearfully excepting Mike’s proposal and the wonderful engagement session I enjoyed with them. Mike and Megan are a lot of fun and definitely in love. Throughout the entire session, I could feel the romance between Mike and Megan each time they looked into each others eyes. The smiles on their faces and the gentle way they touch, tells me Mike and Megan were destined to be together and I look forward to capturing their wedding in November.

Oh, to be young and in love. Those seven words definitely describes the love affair between Jacob and Alyssa. While capturing their engagement photos, I not only saw the love they have for each other, but I also felt the pure joy they share being together. Being around a couple whose laughter is contagious, I couldn’t help but enjoy the moment and laugh along with them. Looking forward to sharing more laughs with this wonderful couple at their wedding in May.

Union. Togetherness. Family. Remembrance. Each one of those words were well represented at Ryan and Courtney’s wedding. Capturing the union of the Cornell and Wolf families at the Indian Hills Golf Course was an amazing time. Both families have a sense of togetherness that all families should enjoy. Tears were shed while Ryan and Courtney shared their first kiss as husband and wife, and smiles were aplenty during the traditional first dance. Throughout the entire day, I knew there was a special person watching over the festivities with a big smile on his face and who couldn’t be more proud of his little girl. Thank you Ryan and Courtney for allowing me to be apart of your special day.

Capturing the moment when a couple commits to each other is one joy of being a wedding photographer. Seeing the groom smile as he watches his bride walk down the aisle, the bride unable to hold back tears of joy while being escorted by her father, are moments when I feel truly blessed to be trusted in capturing their special day. The feeling of humility is intensified when the bride and groom are people I consider friends. Josh and Amy are an amazing couple, both inside and out, and their wedding under the night sky on the beautiful Sterling Hills Golf Course was absolutely wonderful. Josh and Amy are truly made for each other and I was grateful to capture their special day.

Jon & Emily are truly a match made in heaven. The wedding for this wonderful couple can best be described as an elegant and fun event. From the beautiful “Destiny” yacht of the Electra Cruise line to the royal blue slippers worn by Emily, this was a day that truly represented Jon & Emily’s personalities. A very fun and energetic couple who’s love for one another is evident in the tattoos on their ring fingers. Throughout the entire day, their laughter was contagious and their smiles were never ending.

Bonnie and Clyde were not only notorious criminals, but were madly in love and became one of the greatest love story ever told. So without the reign of terror on the community, Josh and Amy wanted to do a themed engagement session based on Bonnie and Clyde. What a fantastic idea! Downtown Los Angeles was a perfect location to capture their love story. Josh and Amy’s passion for one another would easily rival the notorious couple from the 1930′s. This vintage engagement session was one of my favorites and I’m looking forward to January when Josh and Amy exchange vows and continue writing their love story.

When I met with Ryan and Courtney to discuss the location for their engagement session, I was thrilled to learn they wanted the session to be in the mountains. So I packed my gear, made sure my gas tank was full and we headed to beautiful Lake Arrowhead. What a gorgeous day for a wonderful couple. The weather was perfect, the sunset was breathtaking and the love between Ryan and Courtney was apparent in every shot. I had so much fun capturing their love affair in the mountains and I’m looking forward to December 15th when I am able to photograph their wedding day.
